Australia will reopen its borders to international travellers from 1st December 2021. The Australian Government has finally announced that Australia will reopen to the world, after almost two years with closed borders to international travellers.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b143b42 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b143b42\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And the day this all will take place has been set: the 1st of December, 2021. This is the day that, if you (i) are fully vaccinated with a completed dosage of a vaccine approved or recognised by Australia\u2019s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) AND (ii) hold a valid visa for one of the eligible visa subclasses AND (iii) provide proof of their vaccination status AND (iv) present a negative COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test taken within three days of departure, you may be to enter Australia without the need of a travel exemption approved by the Australian Border Force.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e3ba4f1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e3ba4f1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ok, it all may seem a bit overwhelming, but fear not! Current vaccines and dosages accepted for the purposes of travel are:<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6108151 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6108151\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two doses at least 14 days apart of:<\/span><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AstraZeneca Vaxzevria<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AstraZeneca Covishield<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pfizer\/Biontech Comirnaty<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moderna Spikevax<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sinovac Coronavac<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bharat Biotech Covaxin<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sinopharm BBIBP-CorV (for 18-60 year olds)<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or one dose of:<\/span><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Johnson &amp; Johnson\/ Janssen-Cilag COVID Vaccine<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-020d3f1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"020d3f1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At least 7 days must have passed since the final dose of a vaccine for you to be considered fully vaccinated. Mixed doses count towards being fully vaccinated as long as all vaccines are approved or recognised by the TGA.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The TGA is evaluating other COVID-19 vaccines that may be recognised for the purposes of inbound travel to Australia in future.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2620a73 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2620a73\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4><b>Vaccination Certificate<\/b><\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To travel to Australia, you will need to present a vaccination certificate. To be accepted, it must:<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0fb90fc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0fb90fc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have been issued by a national or state-level authority or an accredited vaccination provider<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have been written in English or accompanied by a certified translation<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contain at a minimum:<\/span><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">name as it appears in the traveller&#8217;s passport<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">either date of birth or passport number<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the vaccine brand name, and<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the date of each dose or the date on which a full course of immunisation was completed.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-57de529 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"57de529\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paper and digital certificates will be equally acceptable.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2f924a0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2f924a0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Pre-departure COVID-19 test<\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A negative COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test result is required for travelling to Australia. Evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 3 days before your flight\u2019s scheduled departure must be provided to your airline when you check-in.
